For more than thirty years, CAM Supply has been one of the leading names in the manufacturing and distribution of professional tattoo supplies. Founded in California in 1993 by Dennis Woo Sr., the company has helped shape the evolution of the tattoo world by introducing solutions that have changed the way generations of tattoo artists work, from pre-sterilized tattoo needles to disposable tubes, as well as needle configurations that have since become industry standards.

Behind every product, however, lies a philosophy built on research, listening, and close collaboration with artists. More than three decades later, that vision continues to be carried forward by the Woo family, with Dennis Sr. working alongside his son, Dennis Woo Jr., who now plays a key role in leading the company. Over time, CAM Supply came up with what it called the “CAM Family”, a global network of artists bearing testimony to the trust built up over the years.

Names like Horiyoshi III, Horiyoshi IV, Ami James, Stefano Alcantara, Tai Chen, Jess Yen, Sulu’ape Keone. These are more than just mere collaborations, they’re relationships built over years of shared discussion and development.

In this video, Dennis Sr. and Dennis Jr. share the story of CAM Supply, from its handcrafted beginnings to the innovations that have helped shape the tattoo industry, while reflecting on the company’s relationship with the global tattoo community and the values that continue to guide every decision they make.
