At 25, Hanna Hartwig is a vibrant creative spirit living in Barcelona. Born in Spain to a German-Spanish family, she’s a professional dancer and model with a deep-rooted love for tattoo art. Her fascination began in childhood, inspired by her tattooed mother—and even led her to study tattooing before fully embracing life as a performer.

Now with artist Sen Kawamura (@sen_kawamura), Hanna is halfway through a stunning traditional Japanese bodysuit. It began with a dragon on her arm—symbolic of her birth year—and expanded with a back piece adorned by a Hannya mask, snake, and peonies. The work will continue onto her right arm, completing the full design.

“Tattoos are the ultimate form of expression—wearable art that defines individuality,” Hanna told us in her interview for the latest issue of Tattoo Life, where she is featured as the cover girl. Off stage, she’s a creative powerhouse: dancing, modelling, painting, reading, gaming, and exploring the world of art, science, and spirituality. Her boundless curiosity drives everything she does.

Hanna aspires to become a creative influencer, using her voice and art to elevate human consciousness. She’s already drafting a couple of books aimed at spreading spiritual awareness.
