Copro Gallery in Santa Monica is currently hosting the 20th edition of THE BLAB! SHOW, one of the most anticipated and longest-running exhibitions dedicated to contemporary and pop-surrealist art.
Curated by BLAB! founder Monte Beauchamp – an award-winning art director and graphic designer – this group exhibition brings together more than 70 international artists, including world-renowned painters, sculptors, and illustrators.
On view through October 4, the show offers visitors a vibrant mix of styles and visual languages, from surrealism to visionary art, touching on lowbrow culture and auteur comics. Featured artists include Jesús Aguado, Jana Brike, Glenn Barr, Simona Candini, Dos Diablos, Camille Rose Garcia, Naoto Hattori, Kris Kuksi, Travis Louie, Scott Musgrove, Greg “CRAOLA” Simkins, Joe Sorren, Chie Yoshii, Chet Zar, and many more.
Adding to the experience, visitors can pick up free full-color BLAB! Show posters signed by attending artists and enjoy live performances, including music from Anthony Ausgang’s “Cat Museum.”
