He lives with his partner Marta in the beautiful atmosphere of the island of Menorca (Spain) and will soon open their own studio called ‘Norai Tattoo’.
Hi Mosh, how did you start tattooing, and when did you realize it was the right direction?
Drawing was always present. I fell in love with tattooing when I was 14 and started when I was 20 in 2007. My main goal was to make people happy with my designs on their skin. I realized I was in the right direction when other tattooers started getting tattooed by me and got inspired from my work when making their designs.

Perhaps your tattoos could be generically described as New School, given that you manage to blend Traditional and Japanese tattoo influences at the same time. What do you think?
I think you are right! Even though I don’t go as crazy as I used to when it comes to details, volumes, backlights and glow effects when tattooing my designs, I still tend to exaggerate the proportions and stylize subjects giving them a lot of dynamism and expression.

Why is the animal world (animals so deformed they almost belong to another dimension) so prominent in your tattoos?
That’s funny! I guess I always felt drawing as a way to escape from reality and have fun in some way, even though it can also be very stressful and frustrating. When it’s time to draw some flash, I always find myself between two worlds. The happy one is all about daylight — everything covered in bright colors, smiles and cute eyes — versus the gnarly and dark universe of evil beings. Sometimes I like to mix both.

Over time, have you started to notice more clients who are drawn to your bigger pieces (front or back), or is this type of clientele still the exception compared to those who ask for smaller tattoos?
I’d say I tattoo both equally. I do a lot of gap fillers which I find very interesting and challenging, hand tattoos and one shot pieces. I get to do a lot of sleeves and backpieces too, which I love. When I first started, I rejected all those big projects because I didn’t want to ruin someone’s back.
I progressively increased the size of my projects. The first sleeve I ever made was in Black and Grey Biomech style.

Where do you plan to spend most of 2026 — based on the island of Maiorca, or traveling between guest spots and tattoo conventions?
I just came back from ‘Mondial Du Tatouage’ in Paris (IG: @mondialdutatouage). I will attend the ‘Scottish Tattoo Convention’ (IG: @scottishtattooconvention) in Edinburgh in March and a couple guest spots before summer, then I will be at the ‘Ink Factory’ (IG: @theinkfactorylyon) in Lyon in September. I spend most of the time in Menorca, where my partner Marta and I will open a studio this year called ‘Norai Tattoo’.
