The sour-sugary fruit, like pears, apples, prunes and berries, contains fair quantities of both fiber and sugars, vitamins and minerals.
Dried fruit in shell (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and peanuts) contains a large amount of fat, which determines a rather high caloric value compared to other types of fruit. The dried fruit (figs, plums, bananas, apples, etc.) has more or less the same characteristics as fresh fruit, but obviously, having lost much of the water, it will be much caloric.
