These are just a few examples of people who have made travelling an essential part of their work as tattooists; travelling with no specific destination in mind, they’ve embraced encounters with the locals while observing and discovering everything around them. They were aware of the fact that each encounter would ultimately enrich their tattooist souls. And they’ve travelled not only in the most remote and faraway corners of the world, but everywhere – with a curiosity-filled attitude and love for discovery. That mentality was at the foundation of the “golden era of tattooing”…
