A bit country girl & a bit rock’n roll: this is Torrie Blake! And she likes two things in life most of all: the tattoo art and all the animals in her ranch.
You will recognize her as the cover girl of Tattoo Life Magazine now on sale at your newsstand and don’t miss the exclusive interview with her published in the same issue.
Torrie is a tattoo enthusiast, alternative model, artist, and animal rescuer, she was born in Texas and raised in a ranch with lots of animals, as she says to us: “I have a ranch with horses and that was my entire life growing up.
Four foals were born last year, and I got to spend time bonding and imprinting on all of them, and now we are all best friends and take naps together in the sun! These baby horses will be staying with me until they’re old enough to go to a trainer who will teach them how to be ridden.”
She loves animals so much that she went on to become a wildlife rehabilitator, “I got my Wildlife Rehabilitation License in the State of Texas, and so far I’ve raised many fawns, raccoons and other animals native to Texas. It’s a big responsibility. It’s not all fun and games, as it takes a lot of time, care and my own money”.
«I love flowers, nature, and beautiful things in general. And a lot of my tattoos reflect this idea I have of beauty».
Butterflies, horses, rabbits, and even a deer: there’s a lovely natural world decorating her body, who is brilliantly portrayed in these photos by Dalton Campbell.
