Massimiliano Crez Freguja was born in 1976 in Venice (Italy) where he still resides. He is a self-taught artist and he started painting graffiti regularly at the age of 15. He is a tattoo artist since 1993. In 2001 he decided to dedicate his work and research to "horimono": the Japanese polychromatic full body tattoo. With more than 2 decades on the field of tattooing Crez is one of the pioneers of Japanese style tattooing in Europe. He works in his studio in Marghera the working class neighborhood of Venice.
