After a year from the successful book Dragons I by Filip Leu which collected the dragon sheets of this incredible artist, the imaginary world of dragons is back and the saga continues with 45 new sheets collected in this second book: DRAGONS II by Filip Leu.
The book includes pencil sketches traced over using ink and pen.
The dragon explodes in thousands of faces, it folds up in a spiral and opens up on the following sheet with a different movement every time, a variation of a subject that blows up and then becomes smaller each time with a new energy, it hides and returns. Because Filip�s dragon is made of lines that change continuously: in an abstract figure, in legs that become waves, changing page after page in an incredible dynamic process.
Hence, the importance of this book: being able to give changing three-dimensional movement to one of the most popular subjects in tattoo art.
